What did you want to become when you were a child?
I wanted to be the weatherman. I used an overhead projector and had maps that I would use to do the weather report on my bedroom wall with.
How did your friends/family react when you told them you wanted to be a model?
They were cool with it and always supported me.
How long have you been modelling for?
19 years now
What has been your greatest accomplishment so far:
So far I'd say just being able to maintain an actual career within this trendy world for 19 years is my greatest accomplishment. I've had a lot of great people to work with and their support has made the difference.
Who inspires you in the industry?
I'd say it's the people who have been in the fashion business for a long time. People who stood the test of time on all sides of the business including other models, agents, photographers, stylists, designers, editors, and art directors. It's a difficult business to have longevity in.
What aspects of your job do you like best/least?
I like the traveling/seeing new places the best. The uncertainty of getting jobs when they are on option and having to wait is what I like the least.
What do you believe is the biggest misconception about the modelling industry?
That you will make a LOT of money.
How do you handle criticism when it comes your way?
If someone has something constructive to say then I can accept that and consider it. But, if it's just mean spirited then they may have to deal with I would say in return.
How do you bounce back from a defeat?
I take the moment of let down and accept it, then power back up and keep moving forward. I think that it's important to feel the emotion of the moment but keep a positive attitude ahead of you.
What makes you happy?
Seeing other people genuinely happy.
What brings you the greatest satisfaction?
When I make enough money to take a nice vacation with my family and spend time with them.
What is the one thing you wish you knew when you were younger?
Another language other than English because when I travel it would be nice to speak to people in their native language.
What is your biggest guilty pleasure?
Sleep. I take naps nearly ever day. It's the best stress reliever.

Which living person do you admire most?
My Wife. She just gave birth to my Daughter a few months ago. I watched and helped with the birth but there isn't anything comparing what she does/did to what I do. She's a Champion!
What do you most value in people?
Honesty
What do you wish to achieve in the following decade?
To continue to work well and enjoy my time with family. I would love to do more Film and Commercial work soon.

Be a good friend.
Any advice for those wanting to become models?
Get a large Instagram following because that all the fashion cares about at the moment. It's pretty sad.

Be good to yourself, both mentally and physically. Be your own best friend.
