What did you want to become when you were a child?

From an early age I was already in love with acting it was always the career path for me.

What aspects of your career do you like best/least?

I love how every experience is different and usually allows you to learn a new skill. I dislike the fact that it can be hard to plan your life around the work.

If you could send a note to your 15 year-old self, what would it say?

Don’t worry about what others think. Stay true to yourself and you will find happiness.

If you could send a note to your 75 year-old self, what would it say?

You should have enjoyed the periods out of work more. Trust the universe.

Happiness is...:

A family meal.

What inspires you?

Individuality.

Whom do you most admire in life? What specific characteristics of this person do you want to emulate?

Without being cheesy. My wife. She has endless energy, patience and is my rock.

What three books would you insist everyone read?

  1. The Catcher in a Rye

  2. Easy Riders Raging Bulls

  3. Adventures in the Screentrade

If in a bad (sad, sour, or angry) mood, I pop this movie in and know I will feel better once the film wraps up:

Usually anything by Pixar will do the trick or Elf!

A meal that I serve that I know will be a crowd-pleaser is:

I love a good Ragu.

What do you consider to be the best mistake you have ever made?

Leaving shows when I could have stayed.

The key to my personal well-being is:

Currently, cold water swimming.

What do you believe to be the greatest gift to offer one another?

Your time and your focus.

Any advice for those wanting to become actors &/or live their best lives?

I have always struggled with people telling me to believe in myself. Because the whole nature of the job is relying on others believing you and in you. But if something age has taught me, it is to trust yourself and the situations you find yourself in. I have suffered in the past that I often feel like I don’t belong and I talk myself out of opportunities. But I got myself (out) there (in the end) ,so why did I then not believe?

I guess what I’m saying is you are worthy of the opportunities that present themselves. So embrace them wholeheartedly.

Any last words?

I think I just said it. X
